Deliveries

We all love presents in the mail, so Dear Gladys takes time to wrap your order beautifully.  Dear Gladys doesn’t like to be kept waiting and neither should you!

Within Australia

We send our items withinAustraliausing Australia Post Express.

Your order will be processed and dispatched within 48 hours Monday – Friday.  (Sorry, we do not process and dispatch orders at the weekend or on public holidays.)  We will send you an email when your order has been dispatched.

From the date your order is dispatched, please allow 1-3 business days for delivery to all major city and metro areas and 2-5 business days for delivery to regional, rural and more remote areas according to Australia Post delivery routes.  Costs are set out below.

  • Flat rate of $10 for items under 3 kilos
  • Flat rate of $20 for items over 3 kilos

Orders within Australia do not include insurance so we recommend you choose a secure delivery address.

International

Gladys has friends all over the world and loves to send them presents in the mail!  We ship our items using Australia Post.   Please note that we do not deliver to international PO Box addresses.

From the date your order is dispatched, please allow 7-10 business days for international delivery.  Please note that local duties, taxes and customs may be applied depending on the country of destination and these are NOT contained in your order.  They must be paid by the customer.  Please contact your local customs office for further information.

General notes on all deliveries

Title to the goods shall pass to you on payment in full of the purchase price and any applicable delivery and handling charges. Risk of loss or damage to the goods shall pass to you when the goods are passed from us to our delivery provider for delivery to you.

Please keep in mind that postal and customs delays can significantly alter estimated delivery times.  Delays are particularly common during the Christmas season.  Dear Gladys has no control over the postal and customs services and cannot be responsible for delays or for lost or stolen packages.  We highly recommend ensuring someone is home on the day of delivery to receive your package safely.
