Sizing

Dear Gladys knows all of us are a little different and no two size 12 ladies are the same and each vintage piece is unique. Please use our sizing chart to help guide you to the correct fit. Standard sizes have changed over the decades, so the garments original size tag may not be a good fit guide for you.

We measure all our bust, waist length and hip measurements while the garment is laid flat. We then double all the measurements to get an accurate fit. For example, if the bust laying flat measures 45cm, it is a 90cm fit.

BUST: Measured from arm pit to arm pit.
To measure: Place measuring tape around the fullest part of bust – your arms should be down by your side and slightly apart, keeping the measuring tape horizontal against the body.

WAIST: Measured from the smallest part of waistline.
To measure: Place measuring tape around your waistline where you normally wear your pants with one forefinger between your body and tape. For low rise pants, measure 1-1/2″ below your natural waist and keep the measuring tape horizontal against the body.

HIPS: Measured at the largest part of hip.
To measure: Place measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips and stand with your heels together and keep the measuring tape horizontal against the body.

LENGTH: Measured from collar to hem.
