Fitted for Work helps women who face barriers to entering the workforce by providing free business clothing, presentation and interview skills and access to various mentoring and Transition to Work Programs. In the process, Fitted for Work helps build self-confidence and assists women towards attaining self-sufficiency and financial independence.
Fitted for Work recognises the important role of referral agencies in facilitating employment. We therefore take clients by referral only. Referral agencies include job networking agencies, tertiary and other training institutions as well as other organisations committed to supporting women to improve their life chances through employment.
If clients are interested in arranging an appointment they should talk with their caseworker/consultant to make a booking on their behalf. Fitted for Work services are free of charge for clients.
